The Charente is famed for it's superb gastronomy and produces some of the world's famous aperitifs and foods such as Foie Gras, Confit de Canard, award winning Cognacs and Pineau. You can sample the local delicacies in our restaurant which is situated in the heart of the Cognac region and offers a sophisticated and relaxed dining experience with it's own extensive wine list.
Restaurant Karina
The restaurant has a uniquely warm and welcoming atmostphere where you enjoy a relaxed breakfast which is served till 11.00am.
We offer a lunch menu and evening meal to hotel guests and non-residents. There is a varied selection of food and wine available. We offer a varied menu of French and British cuisine, with à la carte and a fixed price menu every day. The menu caters for all tastes and changes every day. So whether it's just a quick snack or a five course meal that takes your fancy, we can accommodate you.
We also offer other services to suit your needs, whether this be a simple packed lunch or a pic-nic. Just come and talk to us about your requirements and we will be happy to help

Bar
In our bar you will find the original copper alembic. Here you can relax with an aperitif, by an open fire in winter or on the terrace on those warm summer evenings.
The bar is always well stocked with a plentiful supply of locally-produced Cognac and Pineau as well as red and white wines, spirits and of course beer!
Enjoy the friendly atmosphere where you will always find good conversation, ranging from arc welding to archaeology.
