There is so much to do in the region and Hotel Karina is the perfect place for a short or long break away.

Just a few minutes away is Jarnac situated on the river Charente. The main square of this delightful town is dominated by the Chateau du Courvoisier and is the birthplace to President Mitterand. In 20 minutes you can be in the pretty centre of Cognac or you sitting in the sun on miles of sandy beaches within in only 45 minutes of the hotel.

The nearby City of Angouleme comes alive to the sound of vintage and classic cars throughout the Circuit des Remparts over one weekend every September. The city of Angouleme is only 30 minutes away and has a fantastic choice of restaurants and Internationally renowned for the Comic Strip.

There is also plenty to see and do in and around Bordeaux which is just an hour away. it is great for shopping, restaurants and of course delicous wine.
